I began my career with Green & Seifter CPAs as an intern in the summer of 2007. From the first day of my internship, I really felt as if I was part of the Green & Seifter team. I can remember how nervous I was the first time I approached one of the partners with a question. I was soon relieved to experience first hand, what an 'open door policy' truly meant. I was told repeatedly, by everyone at the firm, to ask questions whenever I felt lost. Because it did not take long at all for me to feel comfortable in such a supportive atmosphere, I never found myself feeling this way for more than a few minutes. I can not stress enough how important it is for a new employee, no matter what the field, to have the privilege of working in a team oriented, supportive work environment. There is no better way to describe this atmosphere, and I would have to say that this was one of the most significant factors in my decision to join Green & Seifter CPAs.
In addition to the great atmosphere, I have really enjoyed the hands-on training that I have received since the first day of my internship. In addition to the very informative staff training sessions that take place in the office, I have been able to learn a great deal while working in the field. Even as an intern, I was able to interact directly with client management while working on numerous audit engagements. This experience went a long way to improve not only my technical accounting skills, but my communication skills as well. It will not take long to realize how important these communication skills are in the field of public accounting.
Since joining Green & Seifter CPAs as a full-time staff accountant in May, 2008, I have continued to learn a great deal and further develop my professional skills. I could not be happier with my decision to join the firm, which was an easy decision to make after my experience as a summer intern. During my internship, I quickly discovered what a great place this is to begin a career in public accounting."

My journey with Green & Seifter CPAs began in the summer of 2009. I was hired as an intern, and worked mostly with the audit department. The hands on training I received was educaitonal and more rewarding than learning by sitting in a classroom.
At the beginning of my internship, I was too nervous to ask questions. I quickly learned that everyone would help me, but more importanty, wanted to teach me. The family-oriented environment was a weighing factor in my choice to continue my career with Green & Seifter CPAs.
I was offered a position as a full-time staff accountant - an offer I accepted without hesitation!. Since I began working, I have worked in both the tax and audit departments.
I recently became licensed as a CPA, an accomplishment that I give much thanks to my Green & Seifter CPAs family that supported me through that challenging time.
This year, I am celebrating my 3 year anniversary with Green & Seifter CPAs. As I reflect back on my three years at Green & Seifter CPAs, I am thankful for the opportunities I have been given. Every day I am constantly challenged, which enables me to learn and grow both intellectually and professionally.
My decision to join the Green & Seifter CPAs team has been an amazing opportunity that I would not trade for any other accounting firm.

I was hired as a graduate of Le Moyne College in 2007 and have been working for Green & Seifter CPAs ever since.
The Firm provides a great work environment. They treat their staff very well, and management's emphasis on employees maintaining a healthy work/life balance suits my personality and lifestyle extremely well. They really have allowed me to take on as much complicated and high level work as I can handle. I haven't had one boring day in my first five years at the Firm and don't see myself becoming bored anytime soon!
I would recommend this firm to anyone who enjoys an open team-style environment, and is motivated to work hard and advance as a professional. Any candidate who believes they can have a challenging work life balanced with a fulfilling personal life, would enjoy a career with Green & Seifter CPAs.
