The successful candidate is a licensed CPA with 8 or more years audit experience in public accounting. A heavy emphasis on governmental, employee benefit plan and not-for-profit reporting utilizing Government Auditing Standards and OMB Circular A-133 reporting is desired. The individual must possess excellent technical skills and have significant experience supervising audit field staff and preparing/reviewing financial reports. Manager, Tax Division
The successful candidate is a licensed CPA with 8 or more years tax experience in public accounting. An emphasis on partnership and S-corporation tax planning and preparation is desired. The individual must possess strong technical skills, including financial forecasting for business transactions and have significant experience supervising tax staff. The successful candidate must also possess excellent communication skills and have significant experience managing client relationships. A desire to advance in public accounting is required. Summer 2013 Internship Program
Summer interns are responsible for general accounting and audit knowledge and will have interaction with firm professionals, administrative staff and clients. Summer interns will be responsible for preparing work papers and financial statements, internal controls testing, analytical reviews and verbal and written correspondence. A summer intern will have the responsibilities, training and respect of a new full time staff member.
Student requirements are:
• A minimum overall GPA of 3.5, at least 7 semesters of college credits completed
(by the end of the current semester)
• A major in accounting (CPA 150 hours program)
• Intention to work for a CPA firm in central New York upon graduation
Paid internships typically begin in mid-June and end in late-August.
